I am preparing this on my Palm Top PC, in the spa-bath of my apartment at the conference venue. Should I choose to open the blinds, I could admire the ocean view (across the living room and out through the doors of the private balcony). It is probably not part of the normal conference package, but being driven here, down the Great Ocean Road, in the BMW, with the sun roof open, was wonderful... ... now about the conference: Its on "Best Practice in IT" and is at the Cumberland Resort, Lorne, Victoria (Telephone: (052)892400, Fax: (052)892256). The conference starts at 10:30 am and I am talking about "Road Rules for Australia's Data Highways" at 4:45pm tomorrow. The program also lists Bush-walking, Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Squash, Bicycles, Beach Volley Ball, Bogie Boards, Surf Skis... It finishes Sunday morning with "Best Practice? Forget I.T. Performance Measurement", by John Smyrk. Tom Worthington Ph: +61 6 2474830 Director of the Community Affairs Board Fax: +61 6 2496419 Australian Computer Society Inc. Internet: tomw@adfa.oz.au G.P.O.
