Tom Worthington established a web site on 9 March 1995 using the Australian Computer Society's pioneering web service for members. By 1999 the number of web pages had grown to several hundred and about 13 mbytes (including hundreds of photos). This had outgrown the intention of the service to provide a few web pages.

In February 1999 a new site was established by TomW Communications. Web pages were moved from the old site, with minimal changes. Some of these pages are maintained for non-profit organizations as a free community service.

Some of these site are obsolete, but links are retained for historical interest. These include the founding web sites established for: the ACT Government Home page (1995), Special Broadcasting Service (1995-1996), Australian Information Industry Association (1995-1997), , such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award in Australia - ACT Division (1996) and the Australian-American Chamber of Commerce (San Francisco) (1995-1997).
